Like its predecessor, Monroe Through Time II is presented by the Monroe Historical Society (est. 1959) and portrays the Connecticut community with images that contrast the contemporary setting with the past.
The illustrated narrative offers a new series of accounts and images of bygone times--like a Ku Klux Klan rally in midtown, a neighborhood submersed when the Stevenson Dam created Lake Zoar, and the first comprehensive listing of Monroe's civic leadership since 1823--that have been collected since the publication of Monroe Through Time in 2015.
