By its very nature Monoswezi is a musical collective in a perpetual state of evolution, and 'Shanu' charts the incorporation of new electronic elements into the band's trademark Afro-Nordic soundscape.

Monoswezi's fourth album on Riverboat Records, following the critically acclaimed 'The Village' (TUGCD1063), 'Monoswezi Yanga' (TUGCD1090) and 'A Je' (TUGCD1103) that sees Scandinavian minimalism and jazz seamlessly merge with traditional rhythms from Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
