Private Investigator Darren Camponi gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he is hired to find an old classmate. After tracking him down, Camponi discovers he is working on a secret project: time travel. After pressure from the federal government, Camponi decides to help his friend, only to be dragged into a conspiracy that goes from the FBI right down to the people around him.
