1904. In the preparation of this book it has been my wish to help those who are trying to help others in the long warfare against oppression and so to have some share in helping to make a speedy and peaceful transition from the outworn social forms, by which we are surrounded and of which we are the victims, to the next order of things, in the long ascent of the universal life of which I am a part.
