The object of this book is to show that there are many kinds of bodily quickness corresponding to mental quickness - that all are good; all needed alike by the body and the mind today more than ever; all tending to less ugliness, to less failure and depression everywhere; all to be acquired by practice of the right sort, which practice can be worked out from a sensible study of good models, especially of the genius, the person who is quick by nature.
