Simon Fujiwara (b 1982) moved to Carbis Bay near St Ives at the age of four and lived in Cornwall until he was sixteen. It was as a teenager at the Tate Gallery in St Ives that he first encountered a modern art work, a disturbing experience that inspired his play "The Mirror Stage". This title presents his portrait.
