1929. The following study is designed to give some account of the primitive beliefs and customs obtained in the Northeast of Scotland during the last three centuries. The subject has been divided into two parts, the first dealing with beliefs that may be broadly classified as survivals of nature worship, the second with beliefs which connect with the Black Art.
