Dr. Barbara McNeil is an Assistant Professor at the University of Regina. Dr McNeil believes that school and public libraries are among the best examples of our shared commitment to knowledge, human development, and equity. In this book she highlights the importance of school libraries to all students--but especially to those who are disadvantaged and experience hardship.
