Franz Haydn's delightful Missa Brevis in F Major was both one of his earliest and latest works: he originally scored it for soloists, choir and strings, and returned to it at the end of his life to add wind parts. This authoritative edition, prepared by the Haydn scholar Denis McCaldin, is arranged for two soprano soloists and SATB chorus with a keyboard reduction.
