Robert Nesta Marley OM, 6th February 1945 - 11th May 1981, is the most valued performer of reggae music worldwide known to all as Bob Marley, and renowned for spreading both the music of a people and the Rastafarian Movement to a global audience. He is most iconic for his poetic lyrics which have awakened and inspired a nation through the political exploits, cultural exploitation and differences most relevant to the times of his first album release, "Judge Not" in 1962 in his homeland of Jamaica.

This book recognises the positive messages in Bob Marley's work throughout his career and his ability to impact on our consciousness, helping us to understand more clearly some of the situations we face in life. Readers will notice how far Bob Marley's music goes to inspire us to better ourselves and rule our own destiny. Just take the phrase, "One Love" and you have already exulted in the messages that are expressed in the parables in some of the tracks he recorded. The author of this book has concentrated strictly on the lyrics that has engulfed generation after generation and occupied the minds of people globally through the decades, to reflect different ways to use these emancipating songs to articulate the wisdom and information in Marley's words.
