Men cannot contend with God. So for the past 1700 years, God has hidden the fact that spiritual warfare is only between God and men 2 Thess 2:3-12. The lie perpetrated by Gnostic men is that Satan was a fallen angel so that preeminent Gnostic leaders, in their ignorance could give to the world Bibles from Gnostic men. The same was done in the first age of ignorance with the Septuagint that gave to evil ignorant men the authority to crucify the Son of God 1 Cor. 2:6-8. They clung to their LXX and their lie that Satan was a fallen angel and rejected the Kingdom of Heaven and fell with Jerusalem in 70 AD; Daniel 2:44.

Today, Gnostic leaders still believe that the Lord is a respecter of persons and that they have knowledge outside of the Bible. It keeps their people in line and relieves them of their responsibility of neither adding nor taking away from the Bible. These Gnostic men will protect their doctrine 3 John vs. 9; John 11:48 and prevent their own from entering the Kingdom of Heaven.
