Die deutschen Konigspfalzen. Lieferung 3,5 - Baden Wurttemberg: Rottweil Ulm
The south-west, which was characterized by Roman and late antiquity, was particularly important in the Staufer period as a central landscape within the medieval empire until the middle of the 13th century. In the fifth delivery (the first of the second volume) to the royal abode in what is now the state of Baden-Württemberg, twelve sites are documented. The actions of the East Franconian-German travel kingship in the various places as well as their framework conditions are discussed according to a uniform scheme. Not only aimed at experts, the sub-volume makes available the written sources as well as the archaeological-art-historical evidence.
