Based on the premise that the best way to learn about something is to experience it, this hands-on instructional package teaches multimedia to students by having them actually put it to use. It combines an electronic CD-ROM “text” with a printed supplemental guide that contains instructions on how to use the electronic text, an introduction to each of the topics in the electronic text, and PowerPoint tutorials which give students a vehicle to implement some of the multimedia concepts presented in the electronic text.
