Finding the path to true health
Real health involves far more than the absence of disease. There are other dimensions of health and healing beyond curing an ailment that provide comfort, relief, and restoration. Through a blend of current research, how-to guidelines, and personal stories, counselor Mary Farr defines health in its fullest measure: spiritually, physically, and emotionally. This book explores health along the entire continuum from the crisis of acute, life-threatening disease to the exhausting experience of chronic illness to the potentially debilitating encounters with our work and lifestyle. By redefining health and healing, The Heart of Health provides comfort, sense, and renewal.
