It is 1399, and contract killer, Priedeux, is sent to dispatch the writer of Gawain and the Green Knight, by his master John of Gaunt, who believes the poem is inciting rebellion against King Richard II. Priedeux's only clue as to the whereabouts of the poet is the work itself, so he sets off into the unknown. After many exciting adventures, he finds the castle as described in the poem, but can he find his prey?
