Primrose Scarlet is now eighteen and decides it is time to leave behind the holidays with the family at Frangipani Bay and travel on her own. And where else would a mature young Australian woman with a love of Mother England go for a holiday but London? Little does she know but that decision will have a bearing on the rest of her life.
She meets TJ, a young man temporarily working in London, and embarks on a long distance relationship which at times conflicts with her ambition to carve out a career for herself, and be an independent person, whilst at the same time finding her feelings for this young man continuing to grow and deepen.
Although feeling herself to be very independent she continues living at home, very much caught up in the lives and activities of her family, especially those of her wayward sister, Rosebud. Her career within floristry develops and she becomes very much a part of the community.
But her heart is continually drawn towards that young man in England. Which way will Fate take her?
