This volume was meant to show the celestial bodies, their nature and movements. It was named for the compost because it comprehends fully all the compost and more for the days, hours and moments, the new moons, eclipses of sun and moon, and the signs that the moon is in every day. As a household encyclopedia, the compost is eminently useful.
