Almost everyone has feared the darkness at one point or another, most often as young children. Have you ever wondered what it is about the dark that causes us to fear it? Until recently, I asked myself that question - then, out of nowhere, I realized the answer. I feared not the darkness itself, but the possibility of what might be hiding in the darkness.
