Reminiscent of Anne Frank's "Diary Of A Young Girl", this is Maier's diary during the 1930s and 1940s. She was an Austrian Jewish girl who escaped to Norway in 1939, and became a soulmate to Gunvor Hofmo, who was to become a celebrated poet. She was deported to Auschwitz and murdered in 1942, at the age of 22. Will appeal to fans of "Suite Francaise".
