This issue reviews the use of US for detecting plaque, occlusion, and stenosis of the carotid artery, peripheral arterial disease, and vascular disease of the aorta as well as hepatic, renal, and abdominal vasculature. This issue is rounded out by discussions on the role of vascular US in vascular surgery and pitfalls and artifacts in Doppler Sonography.
