In the early 1970s G. Loomis had the opportunity to assume a Forest Service lease on land in the shadow of Crown Mountain in Montana. As he and his wife, Judy, drove up a rough and narrow two track road to explore the site on the Rocky Mountain Front, their exciting adventure began.
