In the heat of battle, Keita and Kuro learn that Shinobu is a minus root-one who must absorb the tera of others lest she be overcome by the raw negative energy within her. With Shinobu latched on to Keita, Kuro is unable to summon her strength as Keita's power is drained away. As no one stands in his way, Hiyou destroys the Hiba family's soul stone, releasing a tidal wave of negative energy that threatens to engulf Okinawa. Is there anyone left to protect the island?
