The Libertinesin uusi albumi Anthems For Doomed Youth julkaistaan syyskuun 11. päivä. Albumin tuotti Jake Gosling ja se äänitettiin Thaimaassa kuuden viikon aikana huhti-toukokuussa. Brittiläinen The Libertines julkaisi debyyttilevynsä Up The Bracket vuonna 2002. Kakkoslevy The Libertines julkaistiin vuonna 2004, joten bändin uutta albumi ollaankin saatu odotella jo pitkään. The Libertines on yhtä kuin Peter Doherty (laulu, kitara), Carl Barât (laulu, kitara), John Hassall (basso) ja Gary Powell (rummut).
