Thomas Leo, red-bellied barbarian, lives in the Lower North Swamp, above fields on the pond spring of gods, stringent valley crossing into shallow grass, where the Blue Mountains surface pilgrim roads and foals in front of new generations of rice paddies. As a student in the Pacific Northwest he had visions and premonitions of things that he has since pretty much forgot. As a student in Tokyo he followed trends, forced changes and harbored baseless fears. Thomas Leo, hypochondriac, is a kind of mental illness. His favorite pastime is to pine tree in the front garden. Recently, Thomas Leos brain split open and lots of things popped out, of which this audacious collection of flash fiction is undeniable proof. It was not unexpected.
