My New Life at The Bungalow
In spite of the difficulties and frustrations of living with cerebral palsy, Kathleen Lennon is noted for her lovely smile and her wicked sense of humour as well as her determination to succeed. The kindness and friendship she has been shown at The Bungalow by Daniela and members of the staff have encouraged her to push aside her dark, frightening thoughts and live life to the full. And Kathleen does just that. Although hampered by increasing hand and arm spasms, she has persevered to type this account of life at the home. She enjoys arts and crafts, puzzles, swimming, bowling and regular outings, and dreams of pizza and the next cream tea!
