Elizabeth Lavers is resident now in England with her husband, Brian, whose distinguished career in the oil industry took them to live in several very different countries. She is the official Club Poet of the Royal Thames Yacht Club and The Sundial contains more poems that, like her second book of poems, Digital Clock, are 'in celebration of life'. Again, some of her translations into English verse from poetry written in other languages appear in this collection. Elizabeth's poems continue to reflect vivid memories of other places as well as delight in the here and now.
