Not poisoned by civilization, they majestically lived and walked alone upon the wilderness in peace and ultimate freedom without phone, internet, electricity, vehicles or processed food. They lived in close harmony with nature until European nations and Arabs claimed African land in order to secure access to the natural resources they needed to support rapidly growing industrial economies. They also introduced Christianity and spread Islam which transformed many African societies and many traditional practices associated with indigenous religions declined
