Through understanding comes respect.
This book was inspired by the story I wrote for Chicken Soup For the Soul where I explained to a young girl who called Jaimie "weird" because she acted differently than other children do.



This book can help children with SID explain their condition to others, help children understand what SID children go through, and help therapists or counselors teach parents how to talk to their children about SID.



Helping others understand children with special needs will bring respect for these children and make them seem less...different.
