Caillou: Sometimes Moms Get Angry
Caillou is upset by a mother's anger toward her disobedient daughter. The mother's harshness frightens him. To help Caillou understand his feelings, Mommy explains that parents sometimes forget how little their children are. It is a common situation: an overwhelmed mother loses her temper with a defiant child. This can be difficult for the child, who feels lost because the mother no longer seems to be the parent she knows. In this series, children will go "hand in hand" with Caillou to navigate their way successfully through various key developmental experiences of childhood. Written with input from child psychologists, these books help children understand the new situations and feelings they are experiencing.
