When Laura Trevillick is goaded into walking up to a strange old house, she never dreams that it will allow her to enter the building. And when she does get inside, how and why do all the doors click shut? Like Alice in Wonderland, Laura frighteningly finds herself in a time and place far removed from her quiet Cornish village and it is only after a series of extraordinary and dangerous adventures that she thinks she finds herself back home again.
