Motorcycles run through my veins. It began with my father who spent three years in prison after a failed attempt to rob a gas station during an initiation into a biker gang. I was Mom to my own gang! We didn't rob anything- we rode on nice Sunday afternoons- and I rode my own bike- for about two weeks. Most of the time I was on the back- but I have a tattoo! I'm a biker. Counter Steer is a series of humorous memoir, short stories and essays on the life and travels of a motorcyclist.
