As neighboring nations, Ukrainians and Poles have known times of peace and times of war, peaceful coexistence, cooperation, but also many conflicts and misunderstandings. Each side has "its own truth". It was these misunderstandings that led to the formation of negative images of each other in the minds of these peoples.
