Immediately following undergraduate degrees at Stanford, Ritchie and Amber tie the knot at a grand affair in Santa Clara. Poised for a honeymoon sail into the Bermuda Triangle aboard the 35 foot Voyager II owned by Ritchie's father, a massive terrestrial disturbance casts the newlywed couple into an apocalyptic adventure impulsively untangling that knot. In the morbid post-catastrophe earth, Ritchie and Amber surface as hostile rival candidates for the highest leadership position in the emerging female dominated world.
