This study analyzes the impact of recent changes in security and arms control issues in the post-cold war international system. By exchanging the traditional concepts of international security, this group of prominent theorists identifies new challenges to maintaining global security. The contributors assess various proliferation issues from economic, social, and technological perspectives, and they caution that recent political changes warrant a reconsideration and adjustment of future security parameters.
