Seminar paper from the year 2011 in the subject English - Pedagogy, Didactics, Literature Studies, grade: -, Al-Margeb University Al-Khums (Faculty of Arts and Science ,Kasar Al-Khiyar ), language: English, abstract: This paper focuses on the general problems faced by the Arab learners of English, especially English language graduates, who, though, complete their graduation in English language aren't able to express themselves in either way. The reasons behind the problems are mentioned in the paper which is supported especially by the Arab researchers, e.g. Abdul Haq (1982), Harrison, Praetor and Tucker (1975), Abbad (1988) and Wahba (1998). It also discusses the importance of communication strategies and its application in the real life situations. With the conclusion it also presents the pedagogical implications. Examples of various Arab countries are quoted to prove the omnipresence of these problems in the Arab world. The nature of the problem found here is identical.
