The enchanting world of Pipilotti Rist has entered a new phase with the artist’s exhibition at the Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam as this catalogue suggests. The show immerses the viewer in a sensorial, fluid world of video images, soundtracks and objects in a 1500m2 installation and presents seven recent works, along with two new pieces made especially for the museum and shown here for the first time. These works are clearly documented in full colour and accompanied by four essays exploring various aspects of the artist’s practice.
