It's the 1970's, and the young American fashion model Claire Breslinsky has fled to Europe. Through her landlady, she meets an assortment of exotic Europeans, including a filmmaker, who decides to film a documentary in India. Travelling caravan-style, all the guests embark on a journey filled with the beauty and violence of the east.
