The political behavior and attitudes of rank-and-file union members on a variety of policy issues is the subject of this monograph. The analysis is based on a nationwide survey of union households conducted by Lance Tarrance and Associates in 1984. This study also examines the attitudes of union members toward their own unions and union leaders.
