Kateřina Göttlichová is releasing her first solo album, Zimnice. The record combines folk Slavic lyrics, world music and modern electronics. The artist brings the folk lyrics from various time periods of the Slavic past into today's world context creating a new approach to the perception of the stories hidden in them. Kateřina Göttlichová won along with her mostly female band BraAgas several awards in the world music section of the renowned Andel awards. BraAgas who interpret folk music from Spain to the Balkans reached the third top position in World Music Charts Europe in June 2018 with their first album of Czech traditional songs About fish and birds.
