Cinderella at 40: A Practical Fairy Tale
In old fairy tales the boy is handsome and rich and brave; the girl is young and thin and docile. The girl gets the boy and they live happily ever. That's all very nice, but how many women still believe getting a pretty boy at the end of the day makes a fairy tale ending? And, what if the woman is neither young nor thin nor docile? She may want a different kind of fairy tale. The kind that makes sense to her. Like having a pile of cash falling out of the sky and landing at her feet. In ONE ENCHANTED EVENING, a single mom finds a pile of cash on the street in Hollywood. She takes the money home before she finds out the money may be linked to a crime. The police and the hoods could be after her. Should she turn the cash over to the police or should she take the money and run? This is the story of the evening and the following five days that change her life.
