This year is 2130: Mankind is celebrating the successful initiation of Global Government. Huge walking machines called G-MEKs and WGPs have been built to upkeep the peace.

Peace, however, is temporary. Captain Nathan Frant, commander of the United Earth Defense Force, 23rd armored company, has access to these metal giants. Nathan receives orders to re-enlist his retired friend, First Lieutenant Alan Korintz, into his company once again.

Alan, known for his hatred of robots, joins the division and readies himself for battle. Now under command of his once subordinate, Captain Frant, he finds it hard to adjust to life back in the army.

Joined by Medical First Lieutenant Sofia Marsh, Nathan and Alan begin to suspect a conspiracy. The unsuspected future of a bigger robotic cataclysm seems all the more likely as they uncover secrets that the Global Government would rather keep hidden.
