The Transformation of Hector Durante, Son of the Walrus
A short tale of love, faith, hope, truth, wisdom and bliss, this novella sees a young Spanish strongman, Hector Durante, in a dark, low and troubled state following the deaths of his parents, and when unexpectedly arrives to his sun-kissed Mediterranean estate a face from his past, a famous face, that of a well-known holy man, a wandering ascetic: a former degenerate; a wastrel no more. And so begins a conversation between an atheist and a servant of the King, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: one living in the absence of truth; one living with the Son and the Spirit.
