Josh Groban is rolling out his 8th album. He revealed the cover of Bridges on social media and also explained the concept behind it. “With Bridges I wanted to create an album that took me back to the spirit of how I made my first ones but with a modern approach and with so many more years of stories to tell,” the king of easy listening explained. “I felt so good and so inspired making this album, more than ever before, with friends old and new taking part. It both ‘bridges’ my musical worlds old and new, and also hopefully plays a small part in connecting people in that unique way music can.”
Bridges is the 37-year-old’s first album since 2013 and one of his most ambitious. It was recorded in Los Angeles, London and New York with A-list producers like Bernie Herms, Toby Gad, Steve Jordan and Dan Huff. The project will also find the superstar singing in English, French, Italian and Spanish, and boast a couple of exciting duets (still to be announced).
