This book is the result of the expanding focus on cultural diversity and the resulting need for information on specific ethnic groups. Latinos, the ethnic group featured in this book, are rapidly becoming the largest minority in the US. It is, therefore, appropriate and timely to have a book focusing only on Latinos. The underlying goal of this book is to describe state-of-the-art conceptualizations of Latino psychology, interventions, and research with Latino groups living in this country. A vast range of psychological interventions that address current challenges in the areas of mental health, health psychology, and rehabilitation psychology with Latinos are included.
