Current Research in Sustainability provides review-based research that frames the research agenda of its readers over the two-year periods between editions. It draws together the current research literature in key areas, and raises questions that can be informed by empirical research. Because each chapter leads research activity both in industry and in academia, the chapters are designed to make sense of a diverse research literature, take account of emerging developments, and be clear and accessible to a wide range of readers. This book will also be of assistance to those teaching sustainability-related subjects at a high level. It will be updated regularly, and the content will keep pace with a field expanding so rapidly that no 'traditional' textbook could hope to keep pace with developments. Topics covered include: corporate good works, ethics, economics, human resources, engineering, finance, systems thinking, and supply chain management.
