The Practical Woodworker Volume 3 - The Art & Practice of Woodworking
The Practical Woodworker, edited by Bernard E. Jones, is a foundation set of books for the woodworker interested in early 20th-century woodworking techniques.
Volume 3 explores the heart and soul of projects for most woodworkers. Covered are tables, chairs (including frames for upholstered furniture), furniture for bedrooms (including beds, wardrobes and chests of drawers) as well as mantels, mirrors, clock cases, hanging cupboards and a wide variety of basic and special-application cabinetry. Also addressed are boxes, specialized furniture for working and writing, and some more specialized furniture pieces such as cots, linen chests, aquariums and billiard tables.
