A mere two hundred years ago white settlement came to the small coastal village of Lakes Entrance which clings to the Pacific Ocean in South Eastern Australia. Previous to that nomadic aboriginal tribes had roamed the region for forty thousand years taking from its bounty what they needed to survive and barely leaving a footprint.
