In February 1954 I wrote my first poem. Here and there I would write as the Lord put the words on my heart. It became a desire in my heart to put them in a book. The Lord's word was, if I honoured Him and was obedient in sending them wherever He directed, the book would come. In October 1996 Russell went home to be with the Lord. By the grace of God and love of family and friends, I went on. Now, many poems and years later, the time has come. It is with much joy and thanksgiving I share the poems He gave me with you. I trust you will be blessed as I have and many others have been over the years as "In My Heart He Hath Given Song!" In His love, Eileen Johnston
