This research attempts to correct that oversight analyzing the roles of the primary scientists who adopted and adapted the Hydraulis' complex design in an initial search to reproduce this ancient musical instrument that resurfaced as an industrially viable, steam-driven, qua, prime mover in 1690, 46 years before James Watts's birth in 1736.
