Volume 2 of this revised handbook includes many of the topics covered in Volumes 3 (on basic processes) and 4 (on developmental psychology) of the previous edition. In addition, this volume introduces new perspectives on psychological development, including more global coverage and diversity of editor and author backgrounds, as well as a more dynamic, constructivist, and socio-historical approach.
